Singapore Time
Right...let's see...yesterday was my birthday! And today's Sheila's birthday! So happy birthday to her! And 4 days ago, it was Angeline's birthday, so she's 18 just like me too! Hooray for Pisces! xD
In other news, I got into the Academic Roll of Honour for the second time in a row. I don't feel anything though. Odd. A little happy, I suppose. No more than that though.
Well, let's see...for the rest of February since my last post, I went to Angeline's poolside birthday barbeque at Emerald Park, a condo estate. Had a great time there. We actually didn't eat that much. We were playing games most of the time. And Angeline kept telling us to eat more. xD Above is a picture of Angeline's birthday cake. It's a Monopoly board! Complete with Chance and Community Chest and playing pieces! xD And below is one of our group pictures at the BBQ. I just can't get why Marcus won't smile. In fact, none of the other guys are smiling, save Shaun and I. All of the girls are smiling though.
Then on the 25th, I got my hair cut at Jean Yip at Tampines Mall, so I look different from the picture above now. My hair's much shorter right now.
The next day, on the 26th, I went out with Sheila, Hakim and Marcus. We met at Clarke Quay MRT, and for once, I was the latest to arrive. -.-" Anyway, after we met up, we walked over to the Coffee Club at Clarke Quay for lunch, I ordered the PiriPiri Chicken, and I wanted to take a picture of it, but then forgot. By the time I remembered...I was halfway though the dish. Oh well. It was expensive. More expensive than I had anticipated. Oh well. Never mind. At least the food was good. I ordered a Vanilla Ice Mocha to go with it. Not bad. Just...expensive. -.-" Won't be eating there for quite some time. xD
After lunch, we walked out to see that it was raining, lol. We went over to Liang Court, just next door, and while Sheila had a small umbrella, Hakim, Marcus and I chose to get wet and ran across to Liang Court. Much faster than taking repeated trips with the umbrella. When the three of us were back under shelter, we decided to dry off in the aircon in Liang Court, forgetting that the aircon, while taking moisture from our bodies and clothing, also made us feel cold. xD Then Sheila felt cold too, because the cold weather coupled with the aircon and the fact that she was wearing shorts, meant her legs were exposed to the cold. So we were all cold, regardless of who got wet. xD Anyway, we sang our lungs out for 4 hours at the Party World KTV at Liang Court. FUN! :D I paid for the entire session by myself, but it was worth it. ^_^
By the time we got out, we walked over to Marina Square to watch a movie, 'The Pink Panther 2'. It was pretty good. ^_^ Quite funny. It was at 6:45. While waiting for the movie to start, we went to the arcade next door for a short while, and everyone played something except for me. xD I just watched, and kept track of the time. After the movie, we went to McDonald's for dinner. The other three ate, I didn't, since I was broke by then, especially after lunch and paying for the KTV and movie. I had 35 cents in my wallet. xD
After dinner at the McDonald's at Marina Square, we walked over to the Esplanade Rooftop Garden and chatted there for a while, until we left at about 10:50. Sheila and I also exchanged gifts there, since the outing was in celebration of my birthday, and Sheila's birthday. I gave Hakim and Marcus small gifts too. While Sheila, Marcus and Hakim gave me one combined gift, they didn't get Sheila anything. Nor did we get any cake, but I don't mind. ^_^ All in all, a fun time. And W24M are doing an outing on 3rd March, this Tuesday! ^_^ Looking forward to that. ^_^ Oh, and no pictures of the outing on the 26th, cos Sheila's camera was spoiled, I don't have a camera, Hakim has no camera, and Marcus forgot to bring his. xD
