Singapore Time
Okay, so this is late. Very late. I’m sowwee. ):
Okay, anyway, more than two weeks’ worth of stuff to write about, but this is gonna be short anyway! xD Because I’m lazy and busy! xD
Okay, so CNY has come and gone. I got money from hongbaos. Won money from gambling. And spent money won from gambling and gotten from hongbaos. On CNY Eve, several relatives came over, we ate a steamboat dinner. Then I tried to stay awake for as long as possible. It’s a Chinese tradition. You don’t sleep or at least, stay awake for as long as possible on CNY Eve, to wish your parents longevity. I lasted until about 5:30am, and then fell asleep. On the sofa. Was watching TV to keep myself awake. It was mostly boring stuff. I woke up a couple of hours later, because my parents told me to sleep in my room, on my bed, and not on the sofa. So I went in, fell upon the bed, and went back to Sleepyland. xD
So next day, almost all of my relatives came over to my place, because my house is where the family gathers, since my grandma lives with me. This is when I start collecting my red packets and start gambling. Of course, on the first day of CNY, we eat vegetarian. On the second day, ate steamboat, again. For lunch, this time. Dinner was at a Chinese cuisine restaurant. The food was quite good. ^_^ And of course, throughout the course of CNY, I ate yusheng a lot.
On the third day of CNY, I went shopping with all the cash fattening my wallet! xD Got some new clothes. ^_^
On the fourth day, Sheila, Hakim and Marcus came all the way from the west to visit my house in Tampines! For once, they did the travelling. xD I met them at Tampines Mall/Tampines MRT station, then we ate lunch at KFC. I did a quick bit of shopping, and then we went to my place via bus service 81. We had to run to get to the bus, lol. Over at my place, we hung out for a while, played a little on my Xbox 360, then they left. Ate dinner with Hakim and Marcus at McDonald’s, since Sheila had to go off first.
On the fifth day, it was my turn to do the travelling; because I was gonna visit Sheila and Marcus. Went by MRT all the way to Bukit Batok, where Marcus lives. We ate lunch at Pastamania. Then we walked to Marcus’ place. We played Bingo (which Sheila won) and Blackjack (which I won the most) and ‘All In’(we didn’t play money for this). Sheila ended up winning the most, and I think I won a bit. And Marcus lost money. Hakim couldn’t gamble. xD
After some time, we left to go to Sheila’s house, in Boon Lay. Took a bus there. Once we reached there, we played bridge, watched Mythbusters. And saw the purplest room I have ever seen in my life. xD We took a few pictures at her place, but forgot to take at my place and Marcus' place. Ate dinner at Jurong Point’s KFC with Marcus and Hakim, as Sheila went to a steamboat dinner at her friend’s place.
Over the rest of the weeks, I went on many shopping trips, gone to RP twice to hang out with Hakim and Marcus. And just yesterday, went out with some of E36K. Waited an hour at City Hall MRT for everyone, then we went to Marina Square to play bowling. I love bowling. ^_^ We played two games. Sykes won the first game; I scored the highest for the second game. ^_^
Then we went to Suntec to hang for a while, since we were waiting for more members of the class to join us for dinner. This was at Suntec City’s Pastamania. Once dinner was done, we walked over to Millenia Walk for a short while, then we went to the Esplanade and went to the Rooftop Terrace and hung out for a while there, and finally we went home by MRT at about 9:30. No pictures of us together, while we took some, I haven’t gotten them yet. I do have some pictures of the curious architecture of Millenia Walk though.
Yesterday was Jon’s birthday, and though I’ve already wished him happy birthday multiple times, I’m gonna wish him happy birthday again! xD
